Why it exists
Small companies either run HR on spreadsheets or pay enterprise prices for software they barely use. Kolleg covers what a small team needs and nothing else.
What it does
- Request leave in Slack in plain English or German. “ab Montag zwei Wochen Urlaub” works.
- Onboarding starts from the signed contract PDF: AI reads the title, pay, hours and start date.
- Policies with e-signatures and an audit trail, plus a separate tax-advisor portal with DATEV-style exports.
- Expense claims pre-filled from the invoice.
How it’s built
- Role-based access from employee to tax advisor.
- A shared “who’s away” Google Calendar kept in sync automatically.
- Self-hostable: each company runs its own copy.
